We currently collect and process the following information:

Personal identifiers, emergency information and bank account details of employees or
trustees who work for Isabel’s Voice
For people or organisations who kindly donate to us, we will keep a record of personal
identifiers, and the amount donated. For larger organisations we will also keep details
company details for the purposes of due diligence.

How we get the information and why we have it (the legal basis)
Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the
following reasons:

you have asked us a question through our Contact Us page on our on our website and
you have supplied your name and e-mail address
If you send us an e-mail through any other means apart from our website, we will collect
your name and e-mail address
If you are a trustee or employee of Isabel’s we will hold your information whilst you
work for our organisation
You always have the right to withdraw your consent for us to hold your information
It is necessary for conformity with a legal obligation to which we have to deliver: where
we are obligated to retain specific records, such as health and safety; the prevention of
crime; safeguarding; for tax reasons (such as those related to Gift Aid donations) and to
undertake due diligence procedures before we accept donations, aligned to the rules of
the Charity Commission; or entering certain relationships with other organisations.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for
processing this information are:

What we do with the information

We will never share your information with any third party organisation.
We will never sell your information or data.
We will work hard to safeguard your information through security policies and protocols.
We use the information that you have given us in order to:

Promote our campaigns to enhance the outcomes for Children in Care (CIC) and
Care Leavers
Clarify what entitlement CIC and Care Leavers have

How we store the information

Your information is securely stored at 15 Downs Road, as outlined in contact details above.

We keep names, addresses, telephone numbers, e-mail addresses for the current calendar
year when you give us your information and then for five calendar years. After that date we
will give you the option to consent for another five years, or will then dispose your
information by deleting it from our electronic records in the January after the expiry date of
the information that we hold about you.

If you kindly make a donation to Isabel’s Voice using our card payment processing partner
by credit/debit card, we will never have receipt of those details and will not hold them on
our systems. You will be bound by the terms and conditions as laid out by the Charities Aid
Foundation (CAF).

Your data protection rights

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information,
please write to us using the details at the top of this Privacy Notice.
Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify information you think is
inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is
incomplete.
Your right to erasure - You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in
certain circumstances. We will delete your personal data unless there is a legal requirement
to retain it (e.g. company law).
Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the
processing of your information in certain circumstances.
Your right to object to processing - You have the the right to object to the processing of
your personal data in certain circumstances.
Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the information
you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.
You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we
have one month to respond to you.
